Our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Program Steps 

  

 

 

Step 1 – Initial client consultation via telephone 

We discuss with you to determine your needs, your understanding of your competitors, the keywords you wish to target, your expectations and a range of other factors to help us get started. We then go study and analyse the keywords provided and suggest any changes to agree on a final keyword set.

 

Step 2 – Snapshot report 

Step 2 is to build a Snapshot report detailing how your current website is rating for the keywords you selected. This considers a large number of lead indicators (things that will lead to good SEO results) as well as actual SEO measures. The report will also consider the people that you listed as your competitors and other organisations who are leading the way in the keywords you selected.

 

Step 3 - Integrate SEO measures into monthly reports 

If you are part of The Website Marketing Groups monthly website support service you will be receiving a monthly performance report on your website. We will integrate the key SEO measures into this report so that you can keep an eye on how you are progressing each Month. After the SEO program is complete we make this optional service available for $20 / month in addition to the current monthly support agreement.

Step 4 – Website-On page optimisation 

We will then re-build the website optimising it from an on-page point of view making necessary changes to focus more on your chosen keywords. This is a complex process that mostly involves invisible elements of your site however it will also involve us making suggestions for changes to the content of your site. Occasionally these on-page changes will be quite involved and if changes are estimated at more than 2 hours work we will provide an estimate to make the changes.

Step 5 – Website-Off page optimisation
